Membership prices

You only pay when you want to read and reply to messages. These are the current memberships, in US dollars:

US prices as shown in the members area on 16 October 2026; the members area shows the exact price before you pay. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel in Settings > Billing. The checkout shows the billing name that will appear on your card statement.

What's free and what's paid

The free account is a real one, not a teaser. You can join, build a profile, add photos, browse and say hello without paying anything. That's enough to see who's on the site near you before you spend a cent. How it works explains each step.

Reading and replying is the main difference, and for most people it's the only thing they need.

Which option suits you?

A membership is simply a length of time with messaging switched on. The right one depends on how you like to try things.

• The three-day trial suits people who want a short, low-cost look at their messages. Remember that it becomes a monthly membership unless you cancel.
• One week suits people who have a conversation or two under way and want to see where they go.
• One month suits people who plan to give it a fair go. Getting to know someone, arranging a video call and planning a first coffee usually takes more than a few days.

Before you pay, spend a free evening finishing your profile. A profile that sounds like you and a clear, recent photo make the paid time far more useful.

Optional extras

There are also optional extras, priced in the members area: profile boosts, priority messages, a 24-hour pass, revealing who has liked you, and the ID verification badge. None of them is needed to use the site.

The ID badge is worth a word. A member gets it by confirming their identity with a photo ID and a selfie. It shows that their ID matched their face when they checked; it doesn't show that everything else on their profile is true.

How renewal works

Every membership renews automatically at the end of its period, and the trial renews as a monthly membership. It keeps renewing until you cancel. To cancel:

1. Log in at the members area.
2. Go to Settings > Billing.
3. Cancel the membership and note the confirmation.

Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not delete your profile. To remove your profile as well, click your avatar, then Settings > Delete Account.

A simple habit helps: when you buy a membership, put a reminder in your calendar a day or two before it renews, so the decision to carry on is always yours.

Refunds

The members terms allow a pro-rata refund only when at least 40% of the paid period is still unused. The full conditions are in the members terms. For a billing question, use the members help center; contact us explains what to include.

What you'll see on your card statement

The checkout shows the billing name that will appear on your statement before you pay, so make a note of it. Payments across the network go through a checkout called Dating Foundry, so you may see that name. If you see a charge you don't recognize, check whether anyone in your household joined; if you're still unsure, contact your bank. A word on paying anyone else

Your membership is the only thing you should ever pay for. No member has a legitimate reason to ask you for money, gift cards, crypto or help with a fee. If anyone does, read our safety advice and where to report a romance scam.
