Who we are
This website, justseniorsingles.com, is run by High Intent Media Inc, a Delaware corporation (file no. 10670515), registered office 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA. High Intent Media Inc is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.
This notice covers the information website only: the guides, country pages and other pages at justseniorsingles.com. The members area at members.justseniorsingles.com, where you join, build a profile and message other members, has its own privacy policy, which applies to everything you do there.
What this website collects
Very little. This website is a static information site. It:
- sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner;
- runs no advertising scripts and shows no third-party ads;
- runs no tracking or analytics scripts that follow you around the site or across the web.
You can read every page without giving us any personal information.
Server logs kept by our host
This website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel's servers automatically record technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. This is used to keep the site secure and running well, for example to block attacks and fix errors. Vercel handles this data under its own privacy policy.
We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website for this processing.
If you type your email into a join box
Some pages have a join box. If you type your email address into it and press the button, your email is sent to the Just Senior Singles members area at members.justseniorsingles.com so you can create an account. From that point, it is handled under the members area privacy policy, not this notice. This website does not keep a copy.
Links to other websites
Our guides link to official bodies such as government agencies, helplines and charities, and to the websites of groups we list. When you follow a link, you leave this website and the other site's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law gives you rights over your personal data:
- UK and European Economic Area: under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how it is used, and complain to a data protection authority.
- United States: several states, including California, give residents similar rights to know about, correct and delete personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. This website does not sell or share personal data for advertising.
- Elsewhere, including Canada and Australia, national privacy laws give you similar rights of access and correction.
Because this website collects so little, most requests will concern the members area, so please say whether your request is about this website or your membership.
How to contact us or complain
To make a request or ask a question about privacy, contact us through the members help center. See contact us for the other routes.
If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection regulator. In the UK that's the Information Commissioner's Office. In the EU and EEA, each country has its own authority, listed by the European Data Protection Board. In the US, you can contact your state attorney general.
Changes to this notice
If we change how this website handles data, for example by adding a new service, we'll update this notice and the date at the top before the change takes effect. Our terms of use cover the rest of how this website works.
